How our auditors add value.
Not all auditors are the same. Our model is very different to our competitors on the way that our auditords engage with our clients.
1. Pre-audit Planning and engagement
The audit process begins with pre-audit planning, where our auditors define the scope and objectives of the audit and certification project. The lead auditor ensures all necessary pieces are in place to make the audit process smooth and stress-free.
2. Understanding your teams and your management system
The audit team spends a significant amount of time before any audit studying your company, reviewing your entire system, and getting to know all your processes. This takes 2-3 full days of review and study. Most of our competitors roll up on Day 1 without having reviewed a single document.
3. Engagements are value added and focused on improvement
While we are clearly auditors and not advisors or consultants, our focus is about identifying conformity first and non-conformities, second. We add value on the way we engage, the type of enquiries we make, the way we interview, and the way we report. We don't use checklists nor set questions, and we certainly don't engage in investigatory interrogations.
4. Ongoing support
Certification is not the end of the journey—ongoing engagement is key. We support our clients in their three-year certification experience not just once a year at audit time.

Our auditors are certified professionals with extensive experience in governance, risk management, and compliance. They hold auditor qualifications and relevant industry accreditations to ensure a thorough and professional audit process.
It is normal for us to engage at board level, CEO, and senior management teams in every audit. To do this, our auditors must be senior, experienced, and capable of working with complex executive level roles.
Speeki has a complex set of rules and standards to be an auditor. It involves constant training, ongoing development with feedback and oversight mechanisms. It is a process we take very seriously.
ISO bodies almost always outsource most of their audit work to individual contractors. Speeki uses 95% in-house resources on projects and only occasionally taps our selected outside resources.
We see our role as auditor and certification body as an independent extension of of your success. We engage throughout the three year cycle and are always available to support. Our lead auditor is with you for the three year cycle.
